What we do
The why
We focus on the quiet “after” - the in-between phase when treatment ends, crisis settles, and life is meant to feel normal again, but doesn’t. This is the space where identity shifts, routines feel fragile, and people are often left to rebuild largely on their own.
Through lived-experience storytelling, creative media, and community connection, The Gentle Undoing acknowledges that each person’s story is deeply personal - entirely their own, and worthy of being seen, even when it feels messy or unfinished.

We’re here to listen, to hold space, and to honour each story as it is.

Our work blends:
-
personal storytelling
-
long-form and short form interviews
-
creative, lived experience content
-
community collaboration

These elements explore themes of identity, grief, healing, routine, belonging, and what it means to rebuild a life after everything has changed.

Here, we share stories about what it means to rebuild - emotionally, physically and socially. Not to offer perfect answers, but to give language to experiences that are often invisible. To remind people they’re not the only ones moving through the quiet, complicated parts of survivorship and change.
